Dancing Data

I created a music video for Kan3da’s track Dancing Data released on Vortex Trax. Using a digital video synthesizer, I visualised strings of data flowing, dancing and jumping through digital space. The data bits react directly to different elements of the music piece. The choreography was sequenced in a DAW and recorded with analogue video hardware in one take. The editing was only done for minor colour correction and changing the aspect ratio to 16/9.
